In many ways, the LoveCraft Band (LCB) is an ordinary rock and roll outfit. They write and record songs, play shows locally and on the road, and do just about everything else you’d expect a band to do. Look a little closer, though, and you’ll discover that’s what makes them so extraordinary.

“The LCB is an all-abilities band,” says Aslyn Nash, “meaning that four of our six members are adults with developmental disabilities. This group isn’t just a creative outlet for them; it’s a therapeutic one, as well.”

Born out of the Athens, Georgia-based non-profit Love.Craft, the LCB started out as a weekly music class that quickly took on a life of its own. Now, the group is the subject of a five-part documentary series that follows their first national tour, as well as the making of their debut album, We Are The LCB, out 10/9/26 via Strolling Bones Records.
