New England has a sound all its own, shaped by woods, rivers, mountains, and tight-knit cities. You can hear it in the accent as well as the music. That sense of place runs through Bay State Lullaby, the lone solo album by Cliff Murphy, co-founding member of the New Hampshire based band Say ZuZu. This spectacular album—rooted in folk, country, and Americana—was quietly released in 2008 and never received its deserved recognition, until now.

Bay State Lullaby will be reissued on April 24, 2026 by Strolling Bones on vinyl, CD, and all digital platforms with the CD and digital editions featuring three previously unreleased bonus tracks.
